2022: Upcoming News and Events:

We Miss Every one of You!

3rd Annual Open House - TBD

9th Annual Down on the Farm BBQ - We will be back - October 1, 2022

Next Volunteer Orientation: TBD

IF you'd like to participate, you have to be willing to do the following:

  • If you come to the orientation, you must wear a mask, INSIDE the barn and you will sign up for a morning or afternoon shift within that first week after the refresher. Morning shifts are 8-12 and afternoon shifts are 2-5. You will sign up for your first shift at the orientation and you will be working with a "mentor" volunteer so they can guide you through all the routines and expectations for the barn. Doing 3 or 4 shifts within the first month will help you become more skilled and proficient as a volunteer.
  • You will need to guarantee us that you have been smart and safe during the pandemic. You must be willing to wear a mask when in the office area and when you are within 6 feet of other volunteers. When walking horses and working in stalls cleaning or grooming, you won't need to wear your mask as long as you're away from other volunteers. AND you must guarantee that you have not been around anyone who has tested positively.  YOU WILL be asked to fill in a COVID release/consent form.

If you can do the above and are ready to volunteer at the barn, please email Nancy McCormick, our volunteer coordinator and she will add you to the list. Depending on the response, we may need to limit the number of participants so please RSVP to Nancy McCormick as soon as you can.  Let her know if you have any questions or concerns. Nancy McCormick email: nmccormick432@gmail.com

Thank you for attending our Antioch "Celebration of Life" Tack Sale in April and our Pancakes for Ponies in May! We had a great turn out at both events and look forward to our 3rd Annual Open House!
